ÅF Huset

The ÅF Huset building is named after the company who will take up most of the offices in it: the engineering consultancy company ÅF. The opening is scheduled for January 2014. The property will have a strong environmental profile with a focus on saving energy. To enhance this, the Smartscreen blinds in the double-skin façade were equipped with Carré white-grey fabric by Hunter Douglas Scandinavia.

ÅF Huset will be certified by both the EU Green Building Council and by LEED for the highest level: Platinum.

The offices are strategically located at the southern entrance of Gothenburg and can be reached by public transport. People who come to work by bike or on foot can take a shower in the building as all offices have a shower room. The parking garage is equipped with outlets for electrical cars.

Travel time from Gothenburg city is about 11 minutes.

The facade consists of two parts that are fully integrated. The highest part is 16 floors high and the lowest portion 8 floors. The result is an inviting and highly efficient office building.
