Pier Blankenberge

The Belgium Pier in Blankenberge was built in in 1933 after an Art Deco design by architect Jules Soete. It is made out of concrete and stretches 350 meters out in the North Sea. Between 1999 and 2003, the pier was renovated drastically after being diagnosed with concrete cancer. It was listed as a monument in 2004.
